HOW TO SURVIVE RETIREMENT 2

I previously wrote on this topic in wordpress. I FOCUSED on the mind, body, and income.  Today I’m focusing on the mind.  Learning new things.

I have been getting FREE training in network marketing and would like to discuss this. You may not know, but I am new to working on the internet and network marketing .  This training has not only given me confidence that I can do network marketing, but has also provided me with positive feedback.  Having retired from teaching, my positive feedback (since retirement) has been minimal.  It’s great to know you can learn something new even at my age.  While teaching my students taught me as much if not more than I taught them.  Teaching in my opinion is a form of mentoring that can’t be beaten.

Last night I read a book on my computer about network marketing that was very enlighting. The focus of the book was on mentoring not selling the prospect. Up until this point I thought I would be doing selling (a little scary for me).  Now I know it’s just another form of teaching. Right up my ally. The author not only gave  tips on how to talk to a lead, but also discussed how to determine the psychology of the prospect. You can then focus your discussion with them according to their personality. Since I have a background in psychology this made a lot of sense to me.

The important thing in network marketing is to listen to the prospect.  Find out WHY they want to do network marketing – its not just the money! COACH them through the process.  Build their TRUST in you.  Make them feel valued and cared for and they will be loyal to YOU. You want to find people with a strong desire and work ethic.  Your people are your product!   For more information e-mail me at
